These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mentora website and applications (the "Service"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Mentora helps students research European universities, compare programmes, track applications, and prepare for study abroad. We provide information from curated datasets and third-party sources. Mentora is not a university, admissions office, or immigration authority. Outcomes of applications and visa decisions are not guaranteed.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide in your profile and documents.

3. Accounts

You must keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use via Contact.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Violate laws or others' rights.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Service without permission.
  • Upload malware or false, misleading application materials.
  • Misuse the AI assistant to generate harmful or fraudulent content.
  • Resell or commercially exploit catalogue data without written consent.

5. Content and data

University tuition, rankings, deadlines, and scholarship details are provided for guidance. Always verify with official institution and government sources before applying or travelling. AI-generated text may contain errors; do not rely on it as sole advice for legal or financial decisions.

6. Intellectual property

Mentora branding, software, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial study-abroad planning.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MENTORA AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF €50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the platform. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive termination.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state where Mentora is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive venue unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

11. Changes

We may modify these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. For material changes we will provide reasonable notice where required by law.
